Paws on Hubbard is a service centre where we are all about improving the lives of family dogs through training, enriched daycare and a selection of enrichment toys and high quality dog food in the Cupboard.  All dog and cat food that we feature in the Cupboard is either made in New Brunswick (first choice) or Made in Canada.

Puppy classes are designed to help owners to understand and to manage those little balls of teeth and tornado.   Emphasis is placed on foundation skills such as coming when called, and, on building good Socialization skills EVEN during a pandemic.  Preventing separation anxiety and resource guarding are key elements throughout the course.  Puppies who begin with skills are easier to train as they grow, and owners spend less time fixing issues that get out of hand with their adolescent growing puppies.

FUNdamentals is offered regularly to help owners with building life skills in their dogs.  Topics including building Calm, developing Self-Confidence, working on Self-Control, and, on listening skills even while there are distractions.   Teamwork is emphasized throughout, building strong foundations for loose leash walking and come when called.  All of these skills make life with a dog so much more relaxed and enjoyable.

Applications are being accepted for the Enriched Daycare (the Playing Paws Academy).  Dogs receive individual attention through games-based learning.  Attention is directed at what the dog enjoys, and what the owners would like the dog to learn while attending the Academy.
